Boy Scouts is an outdoor program designed to develop character, citizenship, and fitness for boys ages 11 through 17. Through the advancement program and peer group leadership, Scouting helps a boy develop into a well-rounded young man. The Eagle Scout Award, the highest rank in Scouting, is recognized around the world as a mark of excellence.
Troop 22 provids several opportunities for camping and hiking during the year.
The Troop meets on Tuesday nights between 7-8:30pm (see Dates, for meeting dates) usually twice a month.
The Troop participates in community service projects whenever the opportunity arises. During the October Storm in 2006 the Troop helped several parishioners of Ss Peter & Paul, and we also plan yearly to collect food for our Parish's St Vincent de Paul Society.
Troop 22 is considered a Full Uniform Troop:, This means that every boy should be dressed in a Class "A" Uniform for all meetings. Our Troop also has a Class "B" Uniform consisting of scout pants and a Troop 22 t-shirt. Class "B" uniforms are worn during campouts and other events where the Class "A" uniform could be damaged.
Each Scout needs a Boy Scout Handbook. It is the Scout's responsibility to have his achievements signed off by an Assistant Scoutmaster.
Every scout is expected to participate in our annual popcorn sale and other fundraisers to cover the events and operating costs of the troop.

and to obey the Scout Law.

and morally straight.
